Optometrist
Dr. Sue Orvis grew up in Port Washington and received both her undergraduate and Doctorate degree from Indiana University. Upon graduating, Dr. Orvis knew she wanted to return to the community she grew up in, and opened Family Vision Center in 1993. Besides her time in the office, Dr. Orvis achieved her 20-Year Plate of Service from the Cedarburg Junior Women’s Club, she has done medical mission trips to Africa and is an adjunct faculty member at Concordia University where she lectures nurse practitioner students on clinical ophthalmology. Dr. Orvis and her husband, Steve, have two grown kids (one in law school and one in aerospace engineering) and also has two Boston Terriers which are featured in a commercial at the Rivoli Theater. Dr. Orvis loves to run, lap swim, hike, and travel.
